Being in real estate is hard for many reasons from both the buyer and the seller side. From the buyer side, I worry about overpaying, buying the wrong location, and finding hidden issues.

From the seller's side, I want to ensure I get the best price for my real estate. I want to make sure I’m selling at the right time. I want to be sure I’m not being strung along.

To do all of this well I need to find the right realtor.

It’s going to be the most expensive transaction of my life. Shouldn’t I know as much as possible about the person who is going to handle it? Picking the wrong person could cost me thousands of dollars if not more. I have to trust this person with my future. So why does it feel like I’m throwing darts in the dark? 

How do I know if they are selling me their best or worst? How do I know how good they are at negotiating when all I have to go on is their word or a profile that they created?

Going based of reviews doesn’t work because it can be faked. So reviews can be skewed. So I can’t trust those. Referrals work sometimes, but what if I don’t have one? Do I go for a famous one? I should be able to know the historical performance of a realtor before I put my investment in their hands.

This shouldn’t be HARD. We ought to be able to make informed decisions when it comes to big events like this. 

There should be an easy, transparent, detailed, and up-to-date platform that shows all the relevant data points about a realtor’s performance that we as clients care about.
